Chef Marcel Tauschek – Allresto Flughafen München Hotel und Gaststätten, Hilton Munich Airport

A Michelin star at an airport hotel is not something you see every day – unless you work at the Hilton Munich Airport.

Mountain Hub Gourmet at the hotel achieved this prestigious distinction in 2022 and built on it by defending the recognition in 2023.

Leading the team is Marcel Tauschek, described by his employers as “a rough diamond of the new Chef generation”. He was part of the opening team at Mountain Hub Gourmet as Sous Chef from 2020. Since January 2023, he has been creating and delighting guests with his culinary highlights as Executive Sous Chef.

Stand-out elements include regionality as a key element. He is also experiential with his umami-explosive arrangements, emphasis on elegance and precise discipline in his dishes – all now signatures of the Mountain Hub Gourmet experience.
