In the Americas & Caribbean, a broad and differentiated food offer from Osmow’s at Toronto Pearson International Airport earned the accolade, a local brand with well-honed pricing, supported by strong back-of-house service.
The regional winner for Asia Pacific features a menu offer that clearly conveys freshness and quality, value messaging is to the fore and delivery of a memorable customer experience in a suitably atmospheric setting. That winner was Tiffin Express – HMSHost by Avolta at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru.
The regional winner for Europe – Bageterie Boulevard by Lagardère Travel Retail at Prague Václav Havel Airport – was praised by judges for its flexibility and adaptability of a concept that addresses all day parts, offers a variety of price points to emphasise value, prioritises local flavour, uses digital innovation with excellence and supports convenience through take-onboard boxes and gate delivery.
In the Middle East and Africa, our regional winner was notable for its digital dynamism, with a design and format clearly developed to facilitate speed of service and convenience, alongside a culturally sensitive menu with broad choice for passengers. The winner here was Grabb’it by Lagardère Travel Retail at Dubai International Airport.
Among two Highly Commended Awards, the first – Sandwich Manufaktur by Allresto Flughafen at Munich Airport – places a premium on service innovation, including with robot delivery, plus a strong focus on diverse menu choice and sourcing of high-quality products.
The second Highly Commended – SNAP by HMSHost at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport – stood out for its efficiency in delivery, travelised offer and design.
