Qatar Duty Free celebrates again as the leadership team collects the International Lounge of the Year award for Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno at Hamad International Airport
In this showcase for excellence, the judges awarded a Domestic and International award to reflect the varying audiences and services each caters for.
As Domestic winner, the 080 Lounge at Kempegowda International Airport features “stunning design, impressive attention to detail and an integrity of cultural and culinary focus that adds serious wow factor”, said the judges.
On the International winner, Louis Vuitton Lounge by Yannick Alléno would have rated 11 out of 10 according to one judge, if such a rating were possible, with “superb design, service and a luxury menu perhaps unparalleled in the airport world”.
Through Qatar Duty Free, it represents a world first for airports at a location (Hamad International) that has been transformational in its ambition around F&B, introducing many ground-breaking additions to its dining offer over the past two years.
